Since opening its doors in February of 2012 the Live Arts Little Theatre has played host to some of the biggest names in South African entertainment with more than 300 shows under its belt. This stylish Acting Academy turned cabaret venue was called into life by the National Arts Association’s Director, Louw Breytenbach, who captured the vision of bringing arts to the youth when he was only 21 years of age. With a rich history and a passion for the Arts this beautiful venue, situated in the heart of Eastern Johannesburg, doubles as a versatile venue for numerous events including theatre performances and small functions.

In 2017 Live Arts Little Theatre re-branded to become to LALT Theatre House, shifting its focus to education and training in various fields of the Performing Arts including Acting and Drama Classes, 3-Year Drama Courses and Ballet Classes. The LALT Theatre House boasts with a permanent in-house Acting-school, wardrobe department, relaxation-lounge and stage with all necessary trimmings to transform this versatile space to suit any need or requirement from shows to functions to training.
